"The Traveling Agent" is the ninth episode of Season 3 in the American sitcom Ghosts and its 49th episode overall. It aired on April 25, 2024.

Synopsis[]

Pete discovers a power that he never knew he had - one that brings him closer to his buddy Jay (and further apart).

Samantha: He discovered his ghost power. He can leave the property.

Robot: Bon appetit!

Pete's ghost power is revealed for the first time.
- As of this episode, Hetty is the only main ghost to not have her ghost power revealed.
- Pete never tried to cross the barrier for twenty years, as he just listened to the other ghosts about being bound.
- Pete uses the powers to catch a flight and visit his daughter.
Pop culture references:
- The Shawshank Redemption (1994) — Jay refers to it to say Pete has been 'institutionalized'.
  - Jay had previously referenced the same film in The Liquor License.
- Star Wars — Pete calls the robot chasing him "R2D2 from hell."
- Pete doesn't know who Eli Manning and Barack Obama are.
Carol is not seen, but is mentioned. She is revealed to have been sleeping with Nancy, some of the basement ghosts and Baxter.
- Nancy and Thor have also been shacking up.
Mike and Gloria got trampled to death in 2005, there's also gang of people in their death location that like to fight new people.
- Mike can make people forget what they came to the store or aisle for.
This is the first time we see Deal Mart on-screen.
Pete uses his scouting skills to get home.
Isaac doesn't know what a bus looks like, but he does know what a firetruck is.
Pete leaves for St. Lucia to see his daughter on vacation.
