Tad was the boyfriend of Stephanie before she was killed by the Hudson Valley Chainsaw Killer who attacked them when they were making out on the property of Woodstone Mansion.

Tad was born in 1969. He attended the same high school as his girlfriend Stephanie in Hudson Valley and was considered one of the most popular boys in school, and Stephanie was the most popular girl. Tad got a car when he was about 16 or 17 which he could drive himself. He was planning on going to the school prom night in 1987 the night Stephanie was killed. He pulled up just onto the property and started making out with Stephanie when a major announcement suddenly appeared on the radio which said that there was an escaped convict who was a chainsaw serial killer on the loose.
Tad said that it was unlikely that the convict would even be nearby and that if he was, he wouldn't care about some kids making out in a car. However, just seconds after he says this, he was proven wrong by the sound of a chainsaw revving. Both Tad and Stephanie turned to see what was happening and saw the killer running towards them. Tad tried to protect his girlfriend but was knocked out by the killer, who then went after Stephanie and murdered her. Five days after the murder, He went to the vigil with Melanie at Woodstone . Seeing them together unknowingly angered Stephanie, who had recently become a ghost and saw their newfound closeness as the ultimate betrayal. He later married Melanie in 1994 and would start a career in politics being elected mayor years later. He ran for re-election years later in the present day events of I Know What You Did Thirty-Seven Summers Ago.
