Biography[]
Gerald Hatch was born around the 1940s and 50s. He would have joined the church when he was in his 20s, meaning that happened in about the late 60s or early 70s. He came to Button House and conducted a wedding ceremony for Sam and Clare with Ed Ed up going ridiculously far off the rails. The terrible snow almost prevented him from getting there with his broken leg, but Mike was able to get him to the wedding venue by getting a sled so they could sledge down the hill. Once he was there, he was able to conduct the wedding (albeit without some guests) and the wedding went relatively to plan.
Despite several of the guests being late or not managing to arrive at all, Reverend Hatch married Sam and Clare in the drawing room at Button House with the bridesmaids and both bride's parents present. Whilst Allison was stalling to try and help Sam, who was beginning to get cold feet about getting married, he told stories about a time when he found a baby stuck at the bottom of the well and saved it from drowning.
It is likely that most of the stories the Reverend told when everybody was waiting for the wedding were false and that he was just stalling. The Reverend finished off the wedding and stayed for the after-party.
