Biography[]
History[]
Peggy Sue lived in an unidentified town in Ohio and worked as a carhop waitress on roller skates at a drive-in diner in the '50s. At some point, when she was skating around outside delivering orders, she accidentally overshot and couldn't stop in time, causing her to get impaled on the tailfin of a motor car in the parking area. She died as a result and became a ghost. The restaurant eventually closed and Mojitown was later built on the site.
Afterlife[]
Peggy Sue seems to be the oldest ghost at Mojitown. Eventually, a woman named Sondra died on the property after eating a Cheese Hurricane and became a ghost. Only a few years after this, Sam's mother, Sheryl, died of a severe allergic reaction to shellfish after eating a dish containing prawns.
Six years after Sheryl's death, Sam visits Mojitown with her husband, Jay, and discovers her mother is a ghost. Both Sondra and Peggy Sue are introduced to Sam. Later, after Sam has a fight with her mother, Peggy Sue tells her that Sheryl always talks about how beautiful and smart Sam is, and how proud she is of her. This leads to Sam reconciling with her mother, who is able to move on shortly after.
