Lindy Darwin-Paul is the ghost of a TV aerobics instructor from the 1980s. She appears in Ghosts Australia and is portrayed by Michelle Brasier.
Biography[]
Lindy was an aerobics instructor with her own TV program. Though she considers herself a celebrity, she is generally forgotten in the modern day. Her fans include Sean's mother and possibly Kate's great-uncle Alfred, who had Lindy's program recorded on tape (though he eventually recorded over it with a video of a herd of sheep).
She had a toxic relationship with her domineering ex-boyfriend, Dale, who was married at the time. Dale later cheated on Lindy with her mother, Sue, whom he got remarried to.
Death[]
Lindy welcomed the idea of sharing the premises with Kate and Sean, and even to them turning Ramshead Manor into a hotel. However, she was convinced by Gideon to scare them away using her power to interfere with the electric lights. After Kate gained the ability to see and hear ghosts, she looked forward to becoming Kate's best friend.
She briefly fling with "Ned Kelly", a ghost that she found in the property and mistook for the famous bushranger, but who was actually an actor that died during the shooting of a movie. However, she left him when he wouldn't stop talking about himself.
Appearance[]
Lindy wears tight, colorful aerobics clothes, with her hair in a typical '80s perm. She has a little blood dripping from the right side of her head.
Personality[]
Lindy is nice, energetic, and is desperate to meet new people and make friends. When she gets excited she breaks out into her aerobics routine and makes electric lights flicker without even putting her mind to it. Though more aware of modern social norms than other ghosts due to her younger age, she holds at the same time several misogynistic and prejudicial views that she has no trouble sharing, such as believing that women can't drive or that all lesbians are masculine-looking.
Powers[]
Lindy can interfere with electric appliances by producing electricity visible as lightning out of her fingertips, though this can bounce back and zap her if she does it for too long.

- Lindy is the second ghost of the Ghosts franchise who is a main female ghost that died in the 80s after Svenni, as the other main ghosts from the other series were men.
- Lindy, however, is the third female ghost in the franchise to have been a ghost from the 80s in general, with the first being Stephanie.
- Lindy is the first female ghost of the Ghosts franchise to not die wearing a dress or pants, as she died wearing an 80s aerobic leotard.
- She likes Kate and wants her to be her best friend.
- Lindy died the same year her actress, Michelle Brasier, was born.
