Life of Byron is a period drama about Lord Byron, for which a number of scenes were filmed at Button House.[1] Thomas was particularly unhappy with the film being filmed in Button House due to his competition with Byron when they were alive. It was filmed in the episode “Free Pass.”
The film contained sexual content so it may have been intended for older viewers. The Captain found filming interesting and enjoyed pretending to help the assistant director command the actors and staff. Pat used the opportunity of there being lots of large cameras around the house to teach Mary about them, since she had originally believed a camera was “a large metal cow”.
