"You poor little dumplings."
Fiona Legge is a property buyer employed by Herrington Hotels. She is portrayed by actress Rosie Cavaliero.
Background[]
Fiona arrives at Button House just as Alison and her husband, Mike, return from work and instantly mistakes them for the groundskeepers then dismisses them. When she realizes they are indeed the owners she quickly decides that they are in way over their heads and promptly offers them a very large sum for the house so her company - Herrington Hotels - can turn it into their latest location. The Coopers are clearly enamoured with this figure and Fanny is just shocked. When she leaves the house she contacts one of her colleagues and informs them that the Coopers have no idea what they're doing and they can get the house 'for a steal', not for one second does Fiona conciser that Alison and Mike will figure out they've been scammed. Unbeknownst to Fiona, Alison and the other ghosts, the Captain quickly catches on to her scheme and takes it upon himself to investigate.
When she returns to the house Fiona tells Mike and Alison that she had realized they'd need so much space for facilities and storage that they'd not be able to accommodate the eighteen rooms that the Coopers had planned for, this is a total lie and done simply so she can then lower the price on them; unaware of her true intent Alison and Mike begrudgingly accept this. However, when the Captain informs Kitty that he knows about Fiona's plan he also tells her how to put a stop to it. Kitty then goes straight to Alison and tells her how there is plenty of room for a pool in the basement and that Fiona has been lying to them, grateful for this news Alison calls Fiona - though gets the answer phone - and points out the space. Reluctantly Fiona is forced to accept that she'll not be able to get the price down and even gives herself away when she mentions that they have put swimming pools in the basements of other properties. To dodge out of the awkward subject she says she's a 'first class boobie' and brushes it all off.
The surveyors pull up a few stone slabs and quickly halt their exploration, irritated Fiona heads down followed by Alison and Mike where they're informed of the plague pit. Shocked and scared of the darkness, Fiona trips on one of the skulls and falls backwards to lay atop the skeletons. Terrified, she screams manically as the surveyor and Mike haul her back to her feet leaving her white coat covered in soil and dirt. She storms out of Button House insisting she'd find a property without a plague pit underneath it and drives away never to be seen again while Alison and Mike beg her to come back.
Appearance[]
Fiona is very conscious of her appearance and always intends to look professional. Her hair is a bold red which matches her lips and nails, and in Getting Out she wears a white coat tied at the waist with large lapels.
Personality[]
She displays herself as being a polite, happy and outgoing person but is actually snide, conceited and always silently judging those around her. She's a crude businesswoman who doesn't care for morals, she'll scam anyone she believes dumb enough to fall for it. She originally mistakes Alison and Mike for the groundskeepers then plays it off then periodically makes disparaging comments regarding Alison's and Mike's competence and social standing. Each and every time she shakes somebody's hand she instantly sanitizes them and Mike gives her a bag of gooseberries she carries them off as if they personalty disgust her.
Trivia[]
