Earl Boudreaux is the former bootlegger boyfriend of Alberta Haynes. He is portrayed by Brooks Brantly in the American sitcom Ghosts.
Biography[]
Sam and Jay Arondekar find a note in the wall at Woodstone Mansion in the episode "The Liquor License" signed by Earl. It was presumed that he and a woman named "T" wanted to "get Alberta out of the way." Alicia Walker didn't know who "T" was, but her great-grandmother (Alberta's sister Theresa) dated Earl after Alberta died.
While he wasn't directly involved with Alberta's murder, he was the cause of it. The night Alberta died, he and his secret lover Thomas (Hetty's son) had a fight. Thomas was upset that Earl refused to break things off with Alberta and instead ended his relationship with Thomas. Angry and heartbroken, Thomas gave a poisoned bottle of moonshine to Alberta, killing her.
Trivia[]
- In the episode "Viking Funeral", Alberta says, "I'll give you a piece of advice my bootlegger boyfriend used to live by: get rid of the damn body", indicating that he has killed someone before.
- He is at least considered to be bisexual since he dated both Haynes sisters and had a secret relationship with Hetty's son.
