"A Very Arondekar Christmas" is the special eighth and ninth episodes of Season 4 in the American sitcom Ghosts and its 58th and 59th episodes overall. It aired on December 19, 2024.
Synopsis[]
A leaky water heater mishap threatens to ruin holiday plans as Sam and Jay prepare to host Jay's hard-to-please dad, Mahesh (Bernard White), difficult-to-impress mom, Champa (Sakina Jaffrey), and sister Bela (Punam Patel).
Plot[]
Part One[]
Jay and Sam get electrocuted and both fall on top of Nancy and Pete's bodies.
Part Two[]
Sam looks up a ritual to find out a way to expel Pete from Jay. With the help of the ghosts, a spell is enacted but instead of Pete being ejected it is Jay who is expelled from his body. Now a spirit, Jay is shocked to be out of his body, questioning what happened while Sam frantically states she doesn't know. Isaac voices assurances that it might not be a problem, as Jay takes note of him and it is revealed he can now see the ghosts identifying each one in the room. This leaves the ghosts excited at finally being able to communicate with him, while Pete is revealed to be unable to hear the ghosts.
Bela enters and is brought up to speed on the situation, while speechless that Jay is being possessed by a ghost. Later, Jay gets acquainted with the rest of the ghosts and enjoys the benefits of ghost life.
